Richard Petty Experience at Daytona International Speedway

My wife bought me the Richard Petty Drive Experience at Daytona as an anniversary present. I did the ride this past Saturday afternoon. It was an awesome experience driving a Sprint Cup car around the 2 1/2 mile track at the wheel with an instructor coaching you. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes cars, racing and especially fast cars.

Fort Myers Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade 2014

Here are a few pics of the annual Fort Myers Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade. Not the biggest parade but the weather certainly beats New York, Boston or Chicago.

A good time was had by all.

Bald Eagle at Fort Myers Beach Public Golf Course

This Bald Eagle is around Buccaneer Lagoon where I live and Bay Beach adjacent to me all of the time.
I frequently see him flying around but have never been able to capture his image the way my friend and amateur photographer Brent Jesperson did. What a beautiful creature! The eagle, not you Brent.
